A new trailer for Joker: Folie à Deux has been released, teasing what is coming up in the DC sequel featuring Joaquin Phoenix once again as the iconic Batman villain. While 2024 has very few upcoming DC movies in store, Warner Bros. Discovery and DC Studios are revisiting the Joker universe following the major 2019 box office and the critical success of Phillips' Joker movie. Featuring Phoenix back in the role of Arthur Fleck, a.k.a. the Clown Prince of Crime, Joker: Folie à Deux will be focusing on his adventures with Harley Quinn, with Lady Gaga joining the Elseworlds-franchise.
As Joker: Folie à Deux will be released this fall in theaters, the marketing campaign is going deeper for the Phoenix and Lady Gaga-starring musical movie. On Monday, July 22, Warner Bros. Pictures launched a countdown Joker: Folie à Deux stream, announcing that the next trailer would be released on Tuesday, July 23.
