Strange New Worlds Season 2 Trailer Adds James T. Kirk, More Adventure & Romance
The long-awaited trailer for Star Trek: Strange New Worlds season 2 brings two new characters aboard the USS Enterprise and promises more space-faring adventure and even more romance. Strange New Worlds season 2 premieres Thursday, June 15, on Paramount+. The second season of the acclaimed Star Trek prequel reunites season 1's fan-favorite cast, including Anson Mount as Captain Christopher Pike, Rebecca Romijn as Number One, Ethan Peck as Lt. Spock, Christina Chong as Lt. La'an Noonien Singh, Celia Rose Gooding as Ensign Nyota Uhura, Babs Olusanmokun as Dr. M'Benga, Jess Bush as Nurse Christine Chapel, and Melissa Navia as Lt. Erica Ortegas.
Paramount+ has released the first trailer for Star Trek: Strange New Worlds season 2, which adds Paul Wesley as Lt. James T. Kirk to the Starship Enterprise. An alternate future version of Captain Kirk, played by Welsley, appeared in Strange New Worlds season 1's finale, but this is the younger Kirk years before he takes over as Captain of the Enterprise. Also seen for the first time is Carol Kane as Lt. Pelia, the Enterprise's new Chief Engineer. Watch the trailer below:
