Everything That Happened Between Jedi: Fallen Order & Jedi: Survivor

It’s been a busy five years for the crew of the Stinger Mantis between the events of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. With the Empire now stronger than ever, players will find the galaxy a very different place when they rejoin Cal Kestis on the next leg of his adventures. But what exactly has been going on in the intervening years between the Star Wars Jedi games?
As players dive into the hotly anticipated sequel, they are sure to find some big character changes in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. Each of the main characters has been on their own personal journey, and that will be reflected in the game. However, not everything will be explained in-game, and some players might be left feeling a little lost about what has been happening to the crew behind the scenes.
Both Jedi: Survivor's Characters & The Star Wars Galaxy Have Changed Between the story trailer for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor and the tie-in novel Jedi: Battle Scars by Sam Maggs, hints have been dropped about what has been happening to Cal and his friends as well as the wider galaxy. While the full story of Jedi: Survivor is yet to be revealed, the year it is set, 9 BBY, sees some major events in the Star Wars universe taking place. At the end of Jedi: Fallen Order, Cal and the crew had only just completed their first real mission together, leaving their new family at the very beginning of its formation. However, five years later, players will find Cal, Cere, Merrin, and Greez all living separate lives, so what happened, and how does that lead into Jedi: Survivor?
