Speaking with TVLine, Amell revealed that his episode of The Flash season 9 will give an update on Oliver and Felicity's family. Amell returns to the Arrowverse in The Flash season 9, episode 9 — "It’s My Party and I’ll Die If I Want To" — on April 26. According to the actor, the episode will feature “a nice allusion” to Oliver and Felicity's family, showing "how the family is doing." Amell praised the episode's script, saying, "the script is just really well done.”
