Screen Rant's Molly Freeman called The Marvels "an absolute BLAST," as she commended director Nia DaCosta's work with the latest MCU installment while also praising Brie Larson, Teyonah Parris, and Iman Vellani's performances.
Fandango's Erik Davis praised DaCosta's The Marvels as being "a great time at the movies," while celebrating its good pacing, and brings up Vellani as stealing the show with her "wide-eyed "Holy Cow!" humor to the story."
