Hulk"s Best & Worst MCU Moments Are Still Confined To Phases 1 & 2 - And That"s An Issue

The MCU's best and worst Hulk moments have happened in the franchise's first two Phases, which is an issue the MCU needs to address. The Hulk first debuted in the MCU in the franchise's second installment, 2008's The Incredible Hulk, with Edward Norton portraying Dr. Bruce Banner. However, The Incredible Hulk's box office disappointment and Norton's behind-the-scenes issues with Marvel Studios led to Norton being replaced by Mark Ruffalo in as Bruce Banner, with Ruffalo assuming the role in 2012's The Avengers.
While the Hulk has been a long-standing member of the MCU's Avengers and a major character throughout the franchise, his portrayal has been decidedly uneven. Moreover, the best on-screen moments for the Hulk in the MCU have happened in his initial appearances in the franchise, with the MCU having arguably forgotten the Hulk's essence in the ensuing years.
