10 MCU Movies Or Shows Star-Lord Could Return In

Now that Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 has confirmed that Chris Pratt will be returning as The Legendary Star-Lord, the speculation can begin as to where in the MCU he might show up next. Choosing to return to Earth, Peter Quill's Star-Lord is no longer the leader of the Guardians of the Galaxy. Instead, Rocket Raccoon (Bradley Cooper) now fulfills that role as he and Groot (Vin Diesel) are joined by a brand-new roster of heroes. As such, Star-Lord's return in the MCU could look very different compared to his past appearances alongside the Guardians.
Coming to terms with the loss of his version of Gamora (Zoe Saldana), Star-Lord finally decides to stop running and return home. In the final scenes of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, Quill finally reunites with his grandfather decades after he was taken from Earth by Yondu Udonta and the Ravagers. As the final post-credits scene sees the two of them eating breakfast together, a tagline appears confirming that "The Legendary Star-Lord Will Return".
