Deadpool & Spider-Man Team Up Seems More Likely After Latest Sony News
An exciting new update from Sony Pictures has increased the likelihood of an eventual Spider-Man crossover movie with Deadpool. In the pages of Marvel Comics, Deadpool and Spider-Man have been paired together due to their shared comedic abilities countered by Wade Wilson's impressive power to epically exasperate Peter Parker. Now, it seems like there's now hope for their classic partnership to one day come to the big screen.
The opportunity to see Ryan Reynolds and Tom Holland's respective superheroes joining forces in the MCU would be a massive box office goldmine. It would certainly be one of the few ways in which Sony and Disney could meet or exceed their success with Spider-Man: No Way Home where all three live-action versions of Spider-Man were brought together. Thanks to Sony's Kraven the Hunter update at Cinemacon 2023, the studio has just created the means for a hilarious crossover between Deadpool and Spider-Man to now be seriously explored.
