As Star Trek: Deep Space Nine's Grand Nagus Ron (Max Grodenchik) and his wife, First Clerk Leeta (Chase Masterson) negotiate Ferenginar's entry into the United Federation of Planets, the Lower Deckers get into trouble on the Ferengi home world.
Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan introduced the Genesis Device, one of the most ingenious and prevalent concepts from the Star Trek movies. However, Genesis was flawed because David secretly used protomatter in its matrix, resulting in the planet created by the Genesis Device becoming unstable and self-destructing.
