Every live-action version of Gwen Stacy suits up as Spider-Verse superheroes in new Marvel fan art, bringing the cinematic variants together across the multiverse. One of the supporting players who have grown even more popular in Spider-Man's mythology over the last few years is Gwen, as the Spider-Verse movies introduced the Earth-62 variant, where she is known as Spider-Woman. In the world of live-action, Gwen was part of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield's franchises, played by Bryce Dallas Howard and Emma Stone, respectively.
While Gwen hasn't been used in Tom Holland's Spider-Man movies, the Spider-Woman version of her is returning for Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse. Given that Sony is also developing Spider-Man related TV shows for Prime Video and MGM+, there could be a scenario where Stone gets to play Spider-Woman in live-action as a limited-event series. Hopefully, Sony will find a way to bring Stone back somehow because her time as Gwen was cut short, and in a world where Spider-Verse stories are more popular than ever, this would be a great time for her. For now, time will tell what future live-action adventures Gwen Stacy may get down the line, whether it be with Stone or a new actress.
