Joe Locke Explains The Deeper Meaning Of Billy Maximoff"s MCU Identity Reveal So Perfectly It Makes Agatha All Along Even Better

WARNING: This article includes SPOILERS from Agatha All Along, episode 6.Joe Locke opens up more on what it means for the Marvel Cinematic Universe to have revealed Teen to be none other than Billy Maximoff in Agatha All Along.
On the latest episode of The Official Marvel Podcast, Locke elaborated more on the deeper layers of Agatha All Along"s massive Wiccan reveal after nearly a year of rumors and speculation by the MCU audience. When looking at Billy"s trajectory in Agatha All Along, Locke stressed that the character"s prior facade had genuine elements, as he added the following:
Teen of the first 5 episodes is very different to Billy of episode 6 onwards... because we had a lot of discussions about whether the fanboy energy of the first 5 episodes was all fake, but I never saw it as - I think that was still a big part of him, like he was still loving it, and having a great time. But it was then like the lifting of the mask almost, post that "you"re just like you"re mother" line, which always gives me chills whenever I see it/hear it - and it"s like, when the mask"s up, the game"s up, the lie is over - the con, as Agatha would say.
