The Flash alum Tom Cavanagh, best known to the Arrowverse and DC TV audience as Reverse-Flash, will be showing up on Superman & Lois season 4. 2024 will mark the official end of Greg Berlanti's DC TV era as Superman & Lois season 4 will be the final series in his franchise. Despite not being set on Earth-Prime, Superman & Lois is Arrowverse-adjacent, meaning the conclusion of Berlanti's franchise on The CW.
At this year's Fan Expo Philadelphia (via @DevsMastani,) Cavanagh was one of the featured guests and during his panel, the Arrowverse veteran revealed that he is set to appear in Superman & Lois season 4. Check out his full statement below:
Cavanagh explained that while the directing gig for Superman & Lois' series finale had already been grabbed, showrunner Todd Helbing, who had previously worked on The Flash as a showrunner too, asked him to appear on-screen instead. This will be the first time Cavanagh will be seen on one of the DC TV shows since the series finale in The Flash season 9 that aired in May 2023.
