Superman & Lois, star Tyler Hoechlin expressed his desire to play another hero in the DC Universe. The Teen Wolf star has played the role of Clark Kent in several different DC programs, beginning with an appearance on Supergirl in 2016 before reprising the role in Arrow, The Flash, Batwoman, and Legends of Tomorrow. By the time he was given his own series in Superman and Lois, the actor had become well-used to the iconic superhero role.
With Superman and Lois coming to an end, however, Tyler Hoechlin has opened up about his desire to play another hero in the DC Universe. During a panel at Comic-Con, the actor was asked if he would like to play another DC character. Hoechlin responded:
"Am I allowed to say this? We're not coming back for another season - Batman, there... I love Batman." Following this statement, he also expressed desire in playing a DC villain, believing that it "would be fun" after a significant legacy of portraying a major hero in the Arrowverse.
