The Penguin has just had its biggest release date update yet. Colin Farrell was unrecognizable as the Penguin in director Matt Reeves' The Batman. Thanks to the outstanding work of makeup artists and the actor's over-the-top performance, the new cinematic version of the Batman villain has become extremely popular with DC fans. That has led to Max's The Penguin series, with the spinoff's release month now having finally been revealed.

The Batman was originally released in March, with the movie's sequel, The Batman - Part II, having recently been delayed and will now be released on October 2, 2026. Farrell's Penguin will be joined by an impressive cast that includes Cristin Milioti as Sofia Falcone, the daughter of The Batman's Carmine Falcone.
