First DC Universe Release Confirmed To Premiere This December

Creature Commandos, the first project in the new DC Universe, has had its release month revealed. James Gunn's DCU will soon start, with the adult-animated Creature Commandos giving fans a taste of what to expect from this new chapter of the franchise. The show has a star-studded cast, with Creature Commandos' ensemble including both returning actors and newcomers to DC, and as the only DCU project in 2024, the animated series has all eyes on it.
At the Annecy International Animation Film Festival (via @MidouMir/Twitter), Creature Commandos was announced to premiere in December.
The animated DCU series is "a follow-up to The Suicide Squad and Peacemaker." More details and possibly a trailer for Creature Commandos could come on Friday, as the first project in the DCU will have a panel dedicated to it at the event. After controversial reports that the series had been delayed to 2025 and then Gunn saying it had not, now it is firmly confirmed that the DCU slate of releases starts in December with Creature Commandos.
