Jonathan Majors' Kang the Conqueror was intended to play a central role in the MCU's future, serving as the primary antagonist for the Multiverse Saga. A series of Kang variants all played by Majors were also established throughout the MCU timeline, including He Who Remains and Victor Timely, as well as the entire Council of Kangs. With theoretically hundreds of Kang characters still in limbo, it seems the MCU will have to address their fate at some point, with July 2024 offering the perfect opportunity to do so.
