The Boys' Antony Starr has addressed claims that he has been cast to play the title character in the Booster Gold series for the new DC Universe. Recently, the star became involved with rumors surrounding being cast in one of the upcoming DCU projects — Booster Gold — and it has not taken long before the actor was asked about it.
Speaking to Comicbook.com (via @DCU_Updates/Twitter), Antony Starr was asked about the Booster Gold casting rumors but did not directly deny them, instead praising DC Studios co-CEO James Gunn.
Starr made a cheeky comment about playing golf with Gunn before going on to praise the work of the creative mind of the DCU, saying, "I'm excited to see what he cooks up." Whether that will include Starr leading Max's Booster Gold series has yet to be seen. Check out the full quote below:
