This article contains SPOILERS for Agatha All Along episodes 1 & 2.Agatha Harkness has finally returned to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and the first episodes of Agatha All Along present an intriguing mystery around Agatha"s locket that could connect to one of a few possible different characters. Kathryn Hahn first joined the MCU back in 2021, playing the nosy neighbor Agnes in WandaVision. One of the best MCU TV shows, WandaVision had some exciting developments for the franchise, like making Elizabeth Olsen"s Scarlet Witch a major character in the MCU, and Agnes" villain reveal, with Hahn"s character being actually the evil witch Agatha Harkness.

Agatha All Along"s cast brings back several players from WandaVision, as the new MCU series picks back up with Agatha, three years after Wanda left her powerless. In doing so, Agatha All Along delves into what Agatha"s life has been like, also teasing ties to the character"s past that will be explored by the MCU for the first time, including a new mystery.

When the show first picks up with Agatha, the witch is still trapped in Wanda"s spell, believing that she is a police detective. Agnes investigates the death of a Jane Doe — the woman would later be revealed to be the Scarlet Witch — and while inspecting the scene where the body was found, she discovers a broach. Later in the show"s first episode, it is revealed that the broach is actually a locket, with the item said to date back to the 1700s. Inside it is some hair from an unspecified person.

Who Is Agatha's Son, Nicholas Scratch, In Marvel Comics The MCU Could Be Introducing A Surprising Villain Close Agatha"s son has not had many appearances in Marvel Comics, which makes the teases related to the character interesting. Nicholas Scratch"s Marvel history starts in 1977"s Fantastic Four #185. He grew up with his mother in the town of New Salem, Colorado, where Agatha acted as its leader. The secret location was special, as it provided a safe haven for magic users. However, Agatha would later leave New Salem to lead a life outside the magic community, becoming the nanny of the Fantastic Four"s Franklin Richards, the son of Reed Richards and Sue Storm.
Nicholas Scratch is the father of the Salem Seven in the comics, with the group being the same one that was hunting Agatha after Rio Vidal revealed her whereabouts.
With his mother gone, Scratch would become the leader of New Salem. Angered by his mother having left, Nicholas turned the town against her, which almost led to Harkness" execution. Thanks to the Fantastic Four"s intervention, New Salem turned against Scratch, with the villain banished to the Dark Realm. After that, Scratch would occasionally reappear in a villain role. He has since tried to possess Franklin Richards, served his master Dormammu — who appeared in the MCU"s Doctor Strange — in hopes of becoming Sorcerer Supreme, and also became allies with Mephisto, who was rumored for WandaVision but never appeared.
Other Possibilities For Who The Hair Could Belong To The Locket Could Have An Entirely Different Meaning Close While Nicholas Scratch is the most likely candidate for whom the hair in the locket belongs to, he is not the only one. Agatha All Along"s mystery could lead to a character who has already left a huge mark on the show, Aubrey Plaza"s Rio Vidal. It is clear that Rio and Agatha share a past, as Plaza"s character viciously tries to murder the witch in search of revenge. Agatha revealed that Rio could not kill her, which could have something to do with the locket.
