The shocking cancelation of Star Trek: Prodigy may mean that the hypothetical Star Trek: Legacy show is the best chance to continue the story of Admiral Kathryn Janeway (Kate Mulgrew) and the crew of Star Trek: Voyager. Prodigy is the first Star Trek show to be aimed at kids, but it also served as a sequel to Voyager by updating the stories of Captain Chakotay (Robert Beltran) and Admiral Janeway.
