Strange managed to survive in a pocket universe that he created for himself, but everything he had ever known was obliterated. If this X-Men '97 theory turns out to be true, and Cable is trying to break an Absolute Point, then his success may lead to the destruction of X-Men '97's universe.
The Watcher tends to oversee some of the most tragic events across the MCU's multiverse, so his appearance in X-Men '97 episode 5 may have teased this harrowing storyline.
