Deadpool & Wolverine"s Physical Release Success Teased By Deadpool"s Creator
Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld suggests Deadpool & Wolverine"s physical release is a massive success for Marvel. Deadpool & Wolverine claimed a spot in the MCU"s top ten highest-grossing movie rankings. Its box office success is all the more impressive considering that The Marvels earned the title of lowest-grossing MCU movie just a few months before.
On X, Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld commented on the allegedly outstanding success of Deadpool & Wolverine"s physical release. Liefeld says, "I don’t know when or if they will share these Deadpool & Wolverine DVD/Blu-Ray numbers but WOW. WOW." Given that physical media in general is being phased out, Deadpool & Wolverine"s Blu-ray sales could prove just how big of a success the Phase 5 movie was for Marvel.
