Many
Spider-Man films have been released by both Marvel Studios and Sony, all of which can be streamed online. Though there were several Spider-Man movies released in the '80s and '90s, it wasn't until the 21st century that Stan Lee and Steve Ditko's friendly neighborhood Spider-Man truly became a cinematic phenomenon. Today, there are a total of nine contemporary Spider-Man feature films, the combined work of Sony and Marvel Studios, with Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse set to join them in June 2023.
Sony kicked things off with 2002's Spider-Man, the beginning of Sam Raimi's trilogy that starred Tobey Maguire in the titular role until 2007. In 2012, Andrew Garfield succeeded Maguire in The Amazing Spider-Man, reprising the role for a sequel in 2014. Marvel Studios then introduced Tom Holland as the MCU's Spider-Man in Captain America: Civil War in 2016, a role which took him into three solo projects in the MCU, as well as having a part to play in Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. It might be some time before the next Spider-Man movie hits theaters, but audiences can catch Spider-Man's previous adventures online.
