How Many Episodes Does Secret Invasion Have?

Marvel Studios' Secret Invasion has six episodes in its first and only announced season. Due to its nature as an event series, the miniseries should not develop into an ongoing show. Secret Invasion's episode length, with six episodes, is in line with how most MCU shows operate on Disney+. Drama series like Secret Invasion tend to only get a six-episode order, as was the case for The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and Loki season 1.
While the six-episode length is the usual MCU practice for drama series, that is not the only way Marvel operates on Disney+. The comedy-leaning WandaVision and the full-on comedy She-Hulk: Attorney at Law both had nine episodes in their first and only seasons so far. Marvel Studios is also experimenting with its formats, so nothing is really set in stone. For example, the upcoming Daredevil: Born Again made waves when it was revealed that the drama series will have 18 episodes in its first season, doubling what has been the longest length for an MCU series on Disney+.
When Will The Secret Invasion Premiere Release?

Secret Invasion premieres on June 21 with one episode. The series will then release its subsequent five episodes every week on Wednesdays. The weekly episode release has become the usual way of operating for the MCU's series, as it allows conversation about the shows to last longer, as well as deepens the impact of story and character reveals. However, Marvel will soon experiment with the binge-watch format. Disney+'s Echo will release all of its six episodes on November 29. While that is an interesting move, the mystery aspects of Secret Invasion are likely better served with the slow reveal each week up to the series' July 26 finale.
