Loki actor Tom Hiddleston has admitted that he could not imagine his life without the god of mischief. Since the MCU began, Hiddleston has been one of the mainstay actors in the long-running franchise. While it is unclear whether this will continue in upcoming Marvel movies, many have been hoping to see Loki once again. This comes after the ending of Loki season 2, which offered up a satisfying, emotional, exciting end for the character. With the likes of Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and the story of Avengers: Secret Wars on the horizon, Loki's return will always be possible.
Recently, in an interview with Backstage, Tom Hiddleston looked back upon his tenure as Loki. As revealed by the seasoned actor, Hiddleston "can't even conceive" of a life without Loki. The character has played such a huge part in his life and bled into Hiddleston's reality. This is evident with the actor reflecting on how fiction informs reality, and also how Loki has affected not only him but audience members around the world, truly proving why the actor cannot imagine life without the god of mischief:
“The feedback loop for actors is that we get to inhabit a fiction. But, hopefully, that fiction bears the shape of a truth that we recognize about life... I’m so aware that the reason I’ve been able to play him for so long is because of the audience’s curiosity and passion. I’ve been delighted to find that for a character of such stature, he’s remarkably human."

Tom Hiddleston's Connection To MCU's Loki Makes A Return Feel More Likely Hiddleston's Fondness For The Character Makes It Likely Loki Will Resurface Close What these comments bring to the fore is that, for Hiddleston, a return to the MCU as Loki is likely. While Hiddleston did not outright say this himself, it can be inferred that the actor would not be against the possibility. For instance, if an actor had no love, no connection, and no fondness for a role in a major franchise, they would be unlikely to return at any point. That said, the above interview proves just how much Loki has impacted Hiddleston on an emotional and personal level.
The TVA, a major part of Loki, will appear in 2024's only Marvel movie, Deadpool & Wolverine.
With that in mind, Loki could come back to the MCU in the future. The TVA, a major part of Loki, will appear in 2024's only Marvel movie, Deadpool & Wolverine. Although a Hiddleston cameo is unlikely, it proves how much of an influence the world of Loki now has on the wider MCU. When combining that with Hiddleston's obvious love for and connection to the character, the odds of the god of mischief coming back are shortened significantly.
