Heartbreaking Scarlet Witch Theory Settles Agatha"s Biggest Mystery

Agatha All Along has continued to explore the spiritual side of the Marvel Cinematic Universe first introduced in WandaVision, and a new theory helps to make sense of one of the series" biggest mysteries. The new series has already set up a number of exciting mysteries, including the question of Rio Vidal and Agatha"s history, which has kept audiences coming back weekly. With charismatic performances and cliffhanger endings to many episodes, the show has been a fun and engaging part of the MCU"s Multiverse Saga.
Watching Agatha Harkness" coven on the Witches" Road has been compelling - however, there seems to be a great deal going on with Agatha Harkness that is not being shared. Following this, music has become an essential part of the Marvel series, following in the footsteps of WandaVision, where Agatha"s song provided the title for the new series. With this and all the Marvel references in Agatha, theories have emerged concerning the importance of music in the series and where it may have drawn influence from the past.
Scarlet Witch's Sokovian Lullaby Explained Wanda Sings To Her Twins In WandaVision Close In WandaVision, Wanda sings a lullaby to her sons in the made-up language of Sokovian. This is a sweet moment that she shares with Monica Rambeau, and allows the intricacies of Scarlet Witch"s motherhood to be shown briefly. As Billy and Tommy lie in the crib, Wanda sings a sweet and soft song to them. While the story details continue to evolve, it is worth noting that this did not appear to originally be conceived as any meaningful plot detail, although some details do perfectly align.
Speaking with Marvel, WandaVision creator and Agatha All Along showrunner Jac Schaeffer has previously said that the lullaby is “not about the larger mystery of the show.” It was influenced by a song in her prenatal fitness class, and parts of the song reference Schaeffer"s relationship with her own child. Still, these details evolve over time, and while that may have been the case when the song was first used, it may not be anymore.
Theory: Scarlet Witch Cast A Protective Spell On Her Sons The Spell Would Keep Them Protected Until Powerful Enough To Look After Themselves Close A new theory from a user on X suggests that the song itself could have important protective properties. Following the magic of music shown in the latest episode of Agatha All Along, it makes sense that the song in WandaVision could be used as a protective spell. Putting this spell on her twins as they are babies could lead to them being protected and may only be able to be broken when the twins have grown into their power.
While only a theory, something like this would make sense in the universe. Marvel has clearly been setting up a Young Avengers cast, and Wiccan and Speed are two likely candidates for the team, even though both have been erased from the MCU. It seems likely that some kind of spell or magic is at work and would allow for one or both of the two characters to return to the MCU at some point. Agatha All Along is likely to be providing much of the setup to make this occur.
Scarlet Witch's Protective Spell Would Answer Huge Agatha Mysteries The Spell Could Explain The Sigil On Teen Close Speculation concerning Joe Locke"s Teen character has run rampant, and many believe he may be one of Wanda"s children. This theory aligns with that, which would see one of Wanda"s kids being protected, but also potentially being unable to reveal dangerous details about himself. After Agatha"s treatment of the twins in WandaVision, it would make sense that the sigil on Teen"s mouth may keep him from revealing his identity to her or to any of the other witches in the series.
Agatha All Along has added a number of mysteries to the MCU, including the status of the Scarlet Witch"s kids. Seeing the importance of Wanda"s children to her, and her taking the effort to leave a protection spell on them, could make for effective and emotional scenes in the upcoming series. Whether this is revealed through Teen being Wanda"s child or not, the theory suggests that Wanda"s children may still be alive somewhere, and would likely be returning to the MCU in the very near future.
Related Wait, Did Agatha All Along Already Reveal Who Put The Sigil On Joe Locke’s Teen? Teen"s identity in Agatha All Along has been a huge topic of discussion, but one line in episode 3 might have already provided the perfect answer.
2 Regardless of whether the Sokovian lullaby has an alternate plot purpose or not, it seems likely that Marvel wants Wiccan and Speed to be a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe going forward. The two characters are complex and interesting figures with great Marvel lore behind them. Finding a way to re-introduce the characters in Agatha All Along is likely a priority for the studio, and it would be surprising if neither of them appeared in the show by the end of its run.
