Mark Ruffalo"s Hulk dukes it out with Hugh Jackman"s Wolverine in an epic Marvel Cinematic Universe concept trailer. As there have been multiple heroes and villains to join the MCU timeline, there have been various showdowns over the last five phases of the franchise. However, when it comes to Marvel superheroes fighting each other, there is one that many fans have been wanting to see, which is Hulk and Wolverine.
While Deadpool & Wolverine gave a brief glimpse of a Logan variant getting ready to fight a different Hulk, the actual fight was never shown. However, gifted YouTube editor Julian Bell shared a Hulk v Wolverine concept teaser trailer for what it would look like between Ruffalo and Jackman"s respective characters. Check it out below:
Following the end of Deadpool & Wolverine, Marvel Studios have yet to announce when Jackman will be back as the iconic X-Men hero. In the case of Ruffalo"s Hulk, he was last seen in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law towards the end of Phase 4.
What The Hulk Vs Wolverine Would Mean For The MCU A Battle For The Ages Between Two Heavyweight Titans Close From the reaction to the brief hint of Hulk v Wolverine in Deadpool & Wolverine, it is clear that there is huge clamor from MCU afans to see this showdown happen in live-action. So far, it has only ever been depicted through animation and in the comics, where some legendary battles have occured. That could also settle a hypothetical debate that"s raged for a long time.
While his appearance was brief, Hulk"s cameo in Deadpool & Wolverine only reinforced the idea that this is something that should happen sooner rather than later. If this clash were to never happen, especially during The Multiverse Saga, it would definitely be a wasted opportunity, to say the least. Avengers: Secret Wars could be the key to delivering on the dream scenario, of course.
Whether or not Marvel Studios will ever have Hulk and Wolverine fight each other properly on the big screen remains to be seen, but it shouldn"t come as a shock to anyone that they are likely aware of how much fans want to see that happen. With Kevin Feige, a lot of popular fan ideas tend to sometimes come to fruition, whether it be exactly like initially pitched by the audience or adapted to fit within the larger context of the MCU. But with both Wolverine and Hulk in the MCU at the same time, it"s likely all about trying to find a creative reason why they would fight each other.

Despite only being a teaser, the Hulk v Wolverine concept trailer leaves one wanting this to happen so badly, as this should be a no-brainer to bring to life in a future MCU film. At this point, it wouldn"t be shocking if this is something that Marvel Studios is saving for Avengers: Doomsday and/or Avengers: Secret Wars, with the cameo fest likely set to be bigger than ever. But for now, the MCU crowd will have to wait and see whether or not Wolverine and Hulk ever get to take each other on in Phase 6 or beyond.
