10 Superpowers The Flash Never Used In All 9 Seasons Of The Arrowverse Show

Summary
  • Key Takeaways:
  • The Flash has displayed a wide range of powers, including flight, magnetism, super healing, costume creation, disintegration, micro-sleep, speed speech, telepathy immunity, and the use of the Cosmic Treadmill.
  • Grant Gustin's Barry Allen has a more diverse power set than The Flash in the DCEU.
  • Despite The Flash's long history in the comics, there are still many abilities that have not been featured in the TV show.
Over the course of its storied 9-season-run, The Flash still has not shown off every possible power Barry Allen has displayed in the comics. Based in the CW's Arrowverse alongside the likes of Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow, the show finally finished in 2023 with The Flash season 9 ending, concluding the series' 9 year run. In all that time, the series displayed a deep pool of different powers beyond merely running fast for the Scarlet Speedster to pull from.
Compared to The Flash's DCEU appearances, Grant Gustin's Barry Allen has had a much more diverse power set. The show didn't shy away from showing some of the more far-out applications of the Speed Force, including tornado generation, earthquake generation, and intangibility via molecule vibration. But still, with The Flash's long history as a core DC character going back to the Silver Age, there are still a surprising many abilities from the comics that never managed to make the transition to TV.
