The legal team for Jonathan Majors, who plays Kang in the MCU, has been accused of pulling publicity stunts amid his ongoing domestic violence case. Jonathan Majors' future in the MCU is up for question pending the results of this case, but a new filing by New York prosecutors has helped to fan the flames. With the case still ongoing, nothing can be taken for an absolute fact, but this will not be welcome news to Majors' legal team or Marvel as the MCU gears up for the Multiverse Saga's climax, to which Kang and his variants will be central.
A new motion obtained by Rolling Stone now details the involvement of the UK's Metropolitan Police, which prosecutors allege Majors' legal team has involved in an array of publicity stunts, including leaking of misrepresented court documents and attempting to have the Met Police distribute wanted fliers for Majors' ex-girlfriend. The prosecutors have also said that they have obtained the medical records for a woman at the heart of this case which they say is related to another incident that occurred in September 2022. All of this will be in addition to the serious allegations already leveled against Majors, in which he is accused of domestic violence.
