Star Trek Introduces Its Weirdest Borg Ever in DS9"s "Lost Episode"

Warning: contains a preview of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine: The Dog of War #1!A preview for Star Trek: Deep Space Nine’s “lost episode” teases the most adorable Borg in Star Trek history. "Cute" may be the last word anyone would use to describe the Borg, but in IDW’s forthcoming Star Trek: Deep Space Nine: The Dog of War miniseries, Quark is looking to buy a rare purebred corgi from Earth - but there may be more sinister to this pup than meets the eye: it has Borg components!
In a recent tweet, IDW Publishing released a four-page preview for the first issue, which is written by Mike Chen and drawn by Nick Filardi. The issue opens in the final days of the Dominion War; Sisko and his crew have just retaken the station and the Romulans have joined the war effort. While working to salvage any Cardassian technology they can, Sisko notices something curious: the sensors are showing some sort of Borg technology in Holosuite Four; Sisko and Odo take off to investigate. Sisko forces Quark to open the Holosuite, and inside they find sentient holographic lounge singer Vic Fontaine surrounded by a bevy of dogs - including the corgi that lays at the center of the book’s plot.
