X-Men "97 Showrunner Responds To Rumored Release Date Delay

The X-Men '97 showrunner responds to rumors about the Disney+ series having its release date delayed. Before the X-Men fully join the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Marvel Studios will bring them to the small screen. While not set in the MCU, X-Men: The Animated Series is making a major comeback. Disney+ is currently working on a series revival titled X-Men '97. The sequel series was first revealed in November 2021 and has been eying a 2023 premiere.
Recent Marvel Studios rumors have suggested a potential delay in various projects. The X-Men '97 reboot is supposedly one of them, but nothing has been confirmed thus far. However, X-Men '97 showrunner Beau DeMayo took to Twitter to cryptically address the rumors:
DeMayo's response can be interpreted in two ways in terms of X-Men '97's status. One scenario is that Marvel Studios and Disney+ are already on track with X-Men '97 season 1. With a potential set 2023 premiere date already, this would be his casual way of saying not to believe all rumors. On the other hand, the X-Men '97 boss may be discreetly trying to say that a delay is actually on its way.
