How Black Panther In Fox"s Fantastic Four 3 Would"ve Changed The MCU

Fox's Fantastic Four movies almost introduced a different version of Black Panther, which would have changed the MCU as it's known today. Tim Story's 2005 Fantastic Four and its 2007 sequel Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer rode the wave of early 2000 superhero movies like X-Men and Spider-Man with a self-contained story and no connections to a bigger franchise. However, they almost started expanding their universe before the MCU was born.
Despite the Fantastic Four movies' moderate success, development for a third movie didn't move forward. Still, ideas for the third installment were considered by actors, writers, and director. For instance, screenwriter Don Payne expressed his interest in "the Inhumans, the Skrulls, the Puppet Master, and Annihilus and the Negative Zone" and director Tim Story already had a specific actor in mind for Black Panther. If Story's plans had materialized, Fantastic Four could have had a great impact on Marvel movies that would still be felt to this day.
