Is Worf A Bad Star Trek Captain? What First Contact & Picard Reveal

The command decisions of Captain Worf (Michael Dorn) have been called into question in both Star Trek: First Contact and Star Trek: Picard season 3. It was revealed that Worf succeeded Captain Jean-Luc Picard (Patrick Stewart) as the commanding officer of the USS Enterprise-E. Worf's time as Captain of the Enterprise apparently reached an ignominious end which left the Enterprise-E unsalvageable. Given that the USS Enterprise-D was restored after crashing on the surface of Veridian III, it suggests that Worf must have done something spectacular to its successor, even if he still maintains the incident was not his fault.
While Worf was serving aboard Deep Space Nine, he was often put in command of the USS Defiant in the absence of Captain Benjamin Sisko (Avery Brooks). Worf's command of the Defiant became a political issue during the increased hostilities between the Federation and the Klingon Empire. He was also in charge of the Defiant when the Borg Collective launched their second attack on Earth at the start of Star Trek: First Contact. Both of these events give insight into how Worf commands a starship, and whether he's a good or bad Star Trek captain.
