The Marvels" Theory Gives The MCU Its Most Ridiculous & Unexpected Twist Yet

The first trailer for The Marvels gave the audience a taste of the tone of this new adventure in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but it also made way for a theory that, if true, would give the MCU a ridiculous but unexpected twist. Carol Danvers (Brie Larson) is finally coming back in a lead role in The Marvels, the sequel to her debut movie, Captain Marvel, and a continuation of the TV series Ms. Marvel, as it will bring together three different but also somewhat similar superheroes: Danvers, Kamala Khan a.k.a. Ms. Marvel (Iman Vellani), and Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris).
Plot details about The Marvels are still scarce, but what’s known is that an investigation into a wormhole linked to the Kree will bring serious consequences for Danvers, Kamala, and Rambeau as their powers will become entangled, leading them to swap places with each other every time they use their powers. The three heroes will have to join forces to figure out why and put an end to it, but they will also come across other threats, among them villain Dar-Benn (Zawe Ashton). Of course, this mission will see Danvers, Kamala, and Rambeau meeting other characters from different parts of the universe, and one in particular, shown briefly in the trailer, has raised questions about who he is and his role in the story, and a theory says that he will bring an unexpected twist to the MCU.
