Star Wars" Next Show Needs To Fill The Biggest Gap In Anakin"s Life

Star Wars is obsessed with the Skywalker saga, and despite its efforts in filling in as many gaps between the movies as possible, it's neglecting one big era. Most of the recent shows Disney has released are attempting to bridge the massive time gaps between each trilogy. Series like The Bad Batch and Andor cover the rise of the Empire between Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope, while The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett delve into what’s going on in the galaxy between Return of the Jedi and Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
Almost every piece of Star Wars media ties back to the Skywalker family in some way, with Anakin Skywalker at the center. Each trilogy contributes to Anakin’s life as the Chosen One. The prequels show almost every step in Anakin’s Vader transformation, the original films depict his death and redemption at the hands of his son, and the sequels shows his legacy through his grandson. But while Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace covers Anakin’s origin and the rest of the series follows his life and death, there is still a gaping hole in his timeline that Star Wars has yet to fill in.
