10 Ways Star Trek: Legacy Can Continue Voyager"s Story

As Captain Seven of Nine (Jeri Ryan) will presumably be one of Star Trek: Legacy's lead characters, the proposed spinoff show has a perfect opportunity to update the story of Star Trek: Voyager. Terry Matalas' proposed Star Trek spinoff will continue the story of Starfleet in the 25th century, revisiting key figures from earlier Star Trek shows. Matalas has already brought back Captain Tuvok (Tim Russ) in Star Trek: Picard season 3, and could do much more with the cast of Voyager should his proposed series be commissioned.
Star Trek: Prodigy is currently extending the story of the crew of the USS Voyager in the 24th century, as Vice Admiral Kathryn Janeway (Kate Mulgrew) leads a rescue mission to save Captain Chakotay (Robert Beltran). As Star Trek: Legacy will take place 19 years later, it can build on many of these developments. Here are ten stories from both Prodigy and Star Trek: Voyager that Terry Matalas' proposed spinoff can continue.
