With the DCEU coming to an end comes the opportunity to reflect on Henry Cavill's tenure as Superman, and the many superpowers that he regrettably never used in that time. While he did utilize his more famous arsenal of powers to great effect, including his super strength, speed, agility, invulnerability, heat vision and freezing breath, there are a number of powers from both the comics and previous movie iterations that slipped through the net. Though there are admittedly quite a lot for him to choose from.
It's no secret that a select few of Superman's powers err on the sillier side - especially those originating in earlier comics - which might explain why they weren't used in one of the DCEU's best-ranking movies. But with James Gunn at the helm, and the prospect of Superman: Legacy's comic book influences bringing a more lighthearted take on the Man of Steel, the DCU could present the chance to explore some of his more outlandish powers as documented throughout his long career. After considering them all, it becomes quite apparent that there really is very little that Superman can't do.
