Smallville characters receive a medieval makeover in striking fan art. Before DC started entering the shared universe business with the Arrowverse, the DCEU, and the upcoming DC Universe, Tom Welling led Smallville's star-studded cast for ten seasons as Clark Kent. Many of DC Comics' most popular characters played a role in the series, and some of them appear alongside Welling's Kal-El in an unexpected setting thanks to new fan art.
On Instagram, @buffy2ville shared portraits of some key Smallville characters with a twist — the DC series goes medieval.
Welling's Clark Kent, Michael Rosenbaum's Lex Luthor, Erica Durance's Lois Lane, and more appear as medieval versions of themselves. Clark looks like Robin Hood, making a fun connection to Justin Hartley's Oliver Queen from Smallville.
