Superman travels across the multiverse for the biggest DC team-up in new fan art. When it comes to adapting DC characters from page to screen, Superman is one of the handful to have been reimagined the most across television and film over the last couple of decades. The next incarnation of the Man of Steel will be in 2025 when David Corenswet suits up in James Gunn's Superman: Legacy, which will be the proper start of the new DC Universe.
While several characters have already been cast for Superman: Legacy, filming isn't starting until 2024, meaning it will be quite some time until the world gets to see what Corenswet looks like in the costume and what Gunn is doing with the DC icon. To honor the late Christopher Reeve, who passed away 19 years ago, Frederick Nielsen shared new artwork as a tribute to every past, present, and future Superman, with Corenswet and Reeve featured together with several live-action versions of the character.
The artwork also features Kirk Alyn (Superman), George Reeves (Adventures of Superman), Tom Welling (Smallville), Tyler Hoechlin (Superman & Lois), Brandon Routh (Superman Returns, Crisis on Infinite Earths), Henry Cavill (DCEU), Dean Cain (Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman), Gerald Christopher (Superboy), as well as Nicolas Cage (Superman Lives, The Flash). In addition to the Superman live-action celebration, the poster also includes numerous animated versions, including Jack Quaid (My Adventures with Superman), Tim Daly (Superman: The Animated Series), and many more. While he did go on to star in the Shazam! films, D.J. Cotrona's Superman from the canceled Justice League: Mortal movie can also be seen.
