Superman & Lois series finale has officially finished filming, as Lois Lane actress Elizabeth Tulloch confirms the DC TV drama being wrapped. While The Flash season 9 marked the conclusion to the Arrowverse's Earth-Prime line of shows, the franchise is properly coming to an end in 2024. As it is Arrowverse-adjacent, Superman & Lois season 4 will be the end of an era for The CW as it will be the final superhero show on the network, ending almost 20 years of comic book action that began with Smallville season 6 when the channel launched in 2006.
The Superman & Lois series finale began production last week, and
the tenth and final episode of season 4 is now completed. Tulloch, who plays Lois on The CW's beloved DC TV show, announced the update on X/Twitter, sharing the following words:
Tulloch shared a message that had been sent out by the executive producers, thanking "the best cast and crew in television." several months after Superman & Lois got canceled by The CW.
In a response to X/Twitter user Canadagraphs late on April 23, Tulloch, who has played Lois since the Arrowverse's Elseworlds crossover in 2018, also confirmed that this was the final night of shooting for the crew. The Superman & Lois series finale is titled "It Went By So Fast," and was written by co-showrunners Brent Fletcher and Todd Helbing, with returning director Gregory Smith helming the final installment.
