A new photo sees Daredevil, Kingpin, and Jessica Jones actors reunite, reigniting hopes that Krysten Ritter will appear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Daredevil: Born Again. Charlie Cox returned as his Matt Murdock from Netflix's Daredevil in 2021's Spider-Man: No Way Home, then appeared as both Matt and Daredevil in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. The actor now gets his chance to lead another series, and the delayed Daredevil: Born Again is set to include other Marvel characters, with a new photo sparking interest for Ritter to come back as Jessica Jones' title hero.
On Twitter, Kingpin actor Vincent D'Onofrio shared a convention photo where he appears having fun with Daredevil star Cox and Jessica Jones' Ritter.
Netflix's The Defenders crossover series showed that Cox and Ritter share great chemistry as Daredevil and Jessica Jones. With Marvel Studios now diving into the well of the beloved Netflix Marvel series, it would be exciting to see Jessica Jones return to help Matt Murdock against Fisk, and Ritter has sparked Jessica Jones return speculation after appearing wearing a Daredevil shirt recently.

In Daredevil: Born Again, Matt Murdock will be needing all the help he can get. The show brings back Daredevil's main villain, D'Onofrio's Wilson Fisk, but the character has received a major upgrade since he last faced the Devil of Hell's Kitchen. Disney+'s Hawkeye saw Kingpin show some new powers, including the ability to withstand an explosion point-blank, that will make him a more formidable threat when he and Daredevil face each other again.
Daredevil: Born Again rumors and set photos also hint at Kingpin running to become New York City's mayor in the series, which would mean bad things for the MCU's street-level heroes, of which Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has already confirmed Daredevil and Spider-Man will be the face of. With 18 episodes, Daredevil: Born Again will be the MCU's longest series so far, giving it plenty of room to feature other street-level heroes in the fight against Kingpin.
That is where Ritter's Jessica Jones could come in. Jon Bernthal is already confirmed to reprise his Punisher role from the Netflix Marvel universe in Daredevil: Born Again, opening up the way for Ritter to make a Jessica Jones comeback. The Punisher, Jessica Jones, and Daredevil were the most popular heroes of the Netflix shows, and with two-thirds confirmed to be in Daredevil: Born Again, Ritter's Jessica Jones has a good chance of appearing in the series. With Karen and Foggy missing from Daredevil: Born Again, Matt could definitely use some support from Ritter's Jessica Jones to take down Kingpin.
