Deadpool 3 should have a better title, according to the Marvel Cinematic Universe movie's director. So far, the two movies in the franchise of the Merc with a Mouth have received simple titles — Deadpool and Deadpool 2 — but it seems like that is about to change. Deadpool 3's cast is led by Ryan Reynolds as Wade Wilson and Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, and that should factor into the movie's title.
Speaking with WIRED, Deadpool 3 director Shawn Levy confirmed that the movie's title has yet to be finalized. According to Levy, some names have been thrown around for the upcoming Marvel movie, which include Deadpool versus Wolverine, Deadpool and Wolverine, and Deadpool 3 With Wolvie, but nothing has been confirmed yet. “No, there’s no title yet. I sometimes refer to it as “Deadpool versus Wolverine” or “Deadpool and Wolverine” or “Deadpool 3 With Wolvie”—we’ve got a few titles we’ve been bandying about, but boy, it’s a tough one.”
