Speaking with Jake's Takes, Deadpool 3 director Shawn Levy revealed Jackman was ecstatic about wearing Wolverine's iconic suit.
According to Levy, as soon as he told Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige that Jackman was willing to come back as Wolverine for Deadpool 3, Feige said, "‘Okay, but let’s go with the blue and yellow.'" Levy then revealed what Jackman himself thought of the idea, with the Wolverine actor saying, "‘Fuck yeah!’” Jackman could potentially continue in the MCU for a little longer after Deadpool 3, wearing his new costume in future Marvel movies.
