If these rumors are true, then Swift would be joining Harry Styles as a pop star who found their place in the MCU. Styles' shock appearance came in the post-credits scene for Eternals, where he portrayed the Eternal and brother of Thanos, Eros, AKA Starfox. Following the poor reception of his other movies, Styles said that he was going to focus on music. While this doesn't preclude him from reprising his Starfox role, it may evolve into some significant schedule clashes.
Taylor Swift is the biggest pop star in the world right now, having recently become a billionaire thanks to her music career. It is hard to see how either Swift or Styles could easily navigate commitments to the MCU and their own busy schedules as pop stars. There is some solace, however, in the notion that Swift's role won't necessarily be as consequential as Styles'.

Given that Dazzler may appear in Deadpool 3, which will feature a cavalcade of characters unlikely to reprise their roles in future movies, there is no reason to believe that Swift's Dazzler will persist beyond this movie. If the rumors are true, then Swift's involvement will likely comprise an ephemeral moment of fan service rather than an establishment of a recurring, central character. Feige has, however, expressed an interest in a Dazzler solo movie; but even if this goes ahead, there is still another tactic the MCU could deploy.
Dazzler is a mutant whose powers revolve around weaponized sound waves. Naturally, this makes her the perfect character to double as a pop star in addition to her X-Men-related responsibilities. Her pop star background could actually provide the perfect reason as to why Dazzler doesn't always appear in future MCU installments post-Deadpool 3, owing to her own busy schedule. If Marvel does plan to have Taylor Swift portray Dazzler in future MCU installments, there will at least be that pre-established excuse to explain her absences.
