The way that incursions and multiversal travel have been used have varied throughout projects, with Loki and the TVA creating barriers that do not seem to influence story details in Spider-Man: No Way Home and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. However, with Deadpool & Wolverine featuring the TVA, a more consistent multiverse may be coming to light in the MCU, which could yield new direct threats for upcoming Marvel movies.

What Is A Time Ripper? New TVA Tech Explained Paradox's Time Ripper Can Destroy Entire Timelines Close Mr. Paradox's Time Ripper technology could have enormous ramifications on the MCU. The weapon combines matter and anti-matter and allows the person wielding it to destroy an entire universe. Paradox initially wished to use this to destroy the timeline that Deadpool and Logan's Wolverine came from. Following the death of Wolverine - that timeline's anchor being - the whole timeline has begun to atrophy, and Paradox wishes to speed that along with the use of the Time Ripper.
While hardly the same level of threat, Paradox seems to wish to follow in the footsteps of He Who Remains from Loki. However, its use appears to be physically linked to the person wearing it. The act of removing or restoring half of life in a single universe is enough to be permanently debilitating. When Tony Stark used it in Avengers: Endgame, it resulted in his own death.
Marvel has looked to introduce a larger scale to MCU threats ever since showing some of the Infinity Stones as little more than paperweights on a desk in Loki season 1. The ending of Deadpool & Wolverine nearly has Cassandra Nova using the time ripper to destroy every timeline, and to send everyone to the Void. Even using the device to destroy a single timeline in full is beyond what is seemingly shown as possible with the Infinity Gauntlet.
