During his latest appearance on Inside of You with Michael Rosenbaum, Amell was asked if he would ever be up for doing an Arrow movie. However, it turns out this was an idea they had explored before, as Amell revealed that an Arrow movie was close to happening, sharing the following:

That would be fun. We tried to do that, but it didn"t [happen]. To my understanding, it just got killed at the studio level from people that I think were making decisions that were fear-based.
