Scarlet Witch"s Son Was Just Basically Confirmed By A Devilishly Clever MCU Detail

Warning! This article contains spoilers for Agatha All Along.
Agatha All Along episode 3 has all but confirmed the identity of Scarlet Witch"s son thanks to one clever hidden detail. The identity of Joe Locke"s Marvel character in Agatha All Along has been the show"s biggest talking point thus far. Since the ending of Agatha All Along episode 2, theories have run rampant about who he is, why he is bewitched not to reveal anything about himself, and how he connects to Agatha Harkness or other MCU characters.
The ending of Agatha All Along episode 3 only further added fuel to the theory fire thanks to the many details hinting at the character"s identity. Not only was it confirmed that the other witches of Agatha All Along"s coven could not hear details about Teen"s life, but there were also several other teases that he could be more directly linked to Agatha than first thought. That said, all of these aspects were overshadowed by one subtle detail that seemingly confirms Teen as the son of Scarlet Witch after all.
Agatha All Along Is Still Hiding Who Teen Really Is Teen's Identity Remains As Big A Mystery As Ever Close As alluded to, Agatha All Along is still content with keeping any outright confirmation of Teen"s identity absent. Although there are hints aplenty, and it is undoubtedly being depicted as a central mystery in the show, Teen"s real name or backstory is yet to be outlined. The show"s dedication to keeping this secret was especially evident early in Agatha All Along episode 3. In the first two episodes of the show, only Agatha was shown being affected by the spell that has been placed on the boy to stop him from revealing personal details.
Related Marvel Just Revealed 4 New Clues To Joe Locke's Character's Identity In Agatha All Along The mystery of Teen’s true identity in Agatha All Along has received a number of compelling clues in the latest episode of the Marvel series.
1 However, Agatha All Along episode 3 showed the same outcome when Teen tried to reveal his name to the likes of Lilia, Alice, Jen, and Sharon. The same sigil appeared across Teen"s mouth, with the other witches revealing he has been bewitched not to reveal anything about himself. Interestingly, Alice mentions that this spell is only to keep Teen hidden from witchfolk, making his identity even more compelling, as Jen aptly states that "Agatha brought a sparkly little mystery with her."
Teen's "When I Was Thirteen" Line Is A Reference Back To WandaVision Teen Provided A Link To Scarlet Witch > Custom Image by Severina Chu All that said, one subtle Agatha All Along episode 3 Easter egg may have provided the biggest clue yet regarding Teen"s identity. At one point in the episode, Teen was shown bonding with Alice, who mentioned that she experienced some traumatic family events around the age of 13. Teen replies "A lot happened to me at thirteen too." To many, this will simply be a reference to a backstory that is yet to be revealed to flesh out Teen"s character. That said, Agatha All Along"s Easter eggs are rarely unintentional.
This line actually contains a link to WandaVision. In Agatha All Along"s premiere, two facts were confirmed: Teen revealed he was 16 years old in the show and Herb revealed to Agatha that three years have passed since the events of WandaVision. This could admittedly be a coincidence but shows like WandaVision and Agatha All Along do not tend to present information that is not necessary. With the overall tone, story, and vibe of the latter linking closely to the former, Teen"s bad experiences happening at the same time as Wanda"s Hex may be connected.
Despite The Red Herrings, Teen Has Just Hinted He's Billy All Along Teen's Comment Provides Evidence To The Biggest Theory About His Identity Close This Easter egg to WandaVision hints that Teen is Billy Kaplan, the son of Scarlet Witch. Billy has been the most common theory regarding the subject of Teen"s identity, with many believing Joe Locke was cast to bring the Young Avenger to life. In Marvel Comics, the figment of Wanda"s imagination - conjured by Mephisto - that she believed were her children were reincarnated after Mephisto"s spell was broken. The soul of Billy Maximoff became Billy Kaplan, a young magic user who eventually became the superhero Wiccan.
This one subtle line from Teen may prove he is Wanda"s son after all, and a future Young Avenger...
Many have been theorizing that the same happened in the MCU, with Teen being the reincarnation of Billy from WandaVision. Given that Teen mentioned a lot happened to him as the events of WandaVision were taking place, this would certainly make sense. The show remains content to provide red herrings about Teen"s identity, including the hints that he is the Marvel Comics character of Nicholas Scratch, Agatha"s son. However, this one subtle line from Teen may prove he is Wanda"s son after all, and a future Young Avenger after Agatha All Along.
