David Corenswet"s Superman Unites With 4 Past Man of Steel Actors In Art For The DC Crossover I Want To See

Several Superman actors, including David Corenswet"s upcoming version of the Man of Steel, are united for an incredible DC crossover through new art. James Gunn"s DC Universe is slowly approaching, which will begin a new era for DC across TV and film through DC Studios. While the Creature Commandos TV show will arrive in December, the DC Universe will properly begin in July 2025 when Gunn"s Superman film arrives in theaters, featuring Corenswet as the next live-action incarnation of the DC icon.
As the world awaits the first Superman movie trailer after filming came to an end, the DC Universe audience is still showing their excitement for Corenswet"s take on Krypton"s last son. Elizter shared artwork of Corenswet"s Superman coming together with not one but four different live-action versions of the Man of Tomorrow. Check it out below.
The Superman artwork brings Corenswet together with the late Christopher Reeve, as well as Tyler Hoechlin, Henry Cavill, and Brandon Routh"s respective versions of the beloved Metropolis hero. While Routh reprized his incarnation of Superman in Arrowverse"s Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover, Cavill wrapped his era in 2022"s Black Adam, with Hoechlin currently finishing up his time as the Man of Steel in Superman & Lois season 4 before Corenswet"s DC Universe film arrives in 2025.
What The Superman Art Means For The DC Universe Version Of The Hero Close Out of the many DC heroes who have come to life through television and film, Superman is one of the handful who has been reimagined the most in live-action. Given how many actors have played Superman in movies and TV shows, Corenswet will be joining a huge legacy of talented actors who have donned the suit throughout the decades. Since Superman will be the first proper DC Universe movie to arrive from DC Studios, the film is not just crucial for the whole new continuity but also the history of the DC legend.
Even though it may not be called Superman: Legacy anymore, there is still hope that Gunn"s film will honor the past and present of Superman through Corenswet"s iteration while also adding something new to the table to extend the hero"s future in the media. Superman is a character who is constantly evolving, whether it is in the world of comics or through various TV shows and movies. With Gunn"s Superman movie, Corenswet"s take on the hero will hopefully have something that resonates from some of the strongest live-action portrayals while also becoming Superman for a new generation of fans.
Our Take On The Superman Art & David Corenswet's Superman Future While multiverse adventures for Corenswet"s Superman may be a bit too soon, the idea of seeing him with other Superman actors down the line would be a fun idea once his version has been established in the new DC Universe. Given how Corenswet"s take on the character will also be crucial for the foundation of the DC Universe"s Chapter 1: "Gods and Monsters," and beyond, it will be exciting to see how he fits in with other characters across different projects. But for now, the world will have to begin the journey next summer with Corenswet"s Man of Steel in the new Superman film.
