Daredevil: Born Again Is Like Game Of Thrones In 1 Key Way, According To MCU Boss

An MCU boss has declared that Daredevil: Born Again is going to emulate the hit show Game of Thrones in one key way. Daredevil: Born Again is slated to premiere on Disney Plus in March 2025 and will see a slew of characters from the original Daredevil show reprising their roles. Despite these characters returning to the small screen, however, Daredevil: Born Again will not strictly be a continuation of the original show and will instead be more of a soft reboot taking place as its own original story nestled firmly in the MCU"s wider timeline.
When commenting on what fans can expect from the show at an ABC panel at D23 (via Nerdist), Marvel Studios" head of streaming, television, and animation, Brad Winderbaum, suggested that the plot evokes the dark and sometimes controversial tone of the wildly popular Game of Thrones. His full quote is as follows:

"Imagine if New York City was as intricate and problematic and scary as the world of Game of Thrones. All these forces vying for control, and it can be really hopeful at times, and really violent at times, and dark-but also there"s light at the end of the tunnel if you could just fight for it."
