Star Wars Galaxy Map Makes One Mandalorian Season 3 Journey Nonsensical

Summary
  • The Mandalorian season 3 explores various planets, but their locations on the Star Wars galaxy map make one specific journey nonsensical.
  • Mandalore and Tatooine are far apart in the galaxy, but Din and Grogu made an unnecessary trip between the two worlds in one adventure.
  • Despite the illogical journey, it highlights the importance of Din's friendships and his willingness to support his friends on Tatooine.
The map of the Star Wars galaxy has made one journey in The Mandalorian season 3 nonsensical. The latest installment of the first Star Wars live-action TV show follows Pedro Pascal's Din Djarin and Grogu on several adventures through the galaxy, though most of the action either takes place directly on or mainly concerns Mandalore. Planets such as Nevarro and Coruscant are revisited, while new planets like Plazir-15 are explored for the first time. There are plenty of journeys made in Din's N-1 starfighter this season, but the map of the galaxy has made one in particular stand apart from the rest.
The Star Wars galaxy is a massive place with many different sectors, regions, and more. This left many of The Mandalorian's brand-new planets without a true location, until the sourcebook Dawn of Rebellion by Pablo Hidalgo showcased an updated map including many of these planets. The excitement of discovering new planets led to a deeper study of the galaxy map overall, and this closer look has made one journey in The Mandalorian season 3 nonsensical.
