The heroes started their MCU journeys in different ways, with Jeremy Renner's Hawkeye and Scarlett Johansson's Black Widow debuting in supporting roles in other heroes' movies, while the other four original Avengers got their MCU start through solo films. On Reddit, u/digimeng shared their series of MCU fan posters in the style of 1950s movie posters, starting with the first solo movies for Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, and Hulk.

Given the long history of Marvel Comics, a series of 1950s movie posters for the MCU is an inspired choice, and the start of the project with the Avengers shows how well it works.
